A stronger core means stronger balance, both physically and emotionally. When you are physically stronger to face the day’s natural obstacle course, your mind steps up to the plate. Starting each day with the “I got this” mindset is invaluable. Each day is a gift. Unwrap it, as the strongly balanced, beautiful being you are. Grab life by the horns, and you may as well grab a really heavy kettlebell by the horns too. Strengthen your lust for life!
NUTRITION
Weight training is vital to building lean muscle mass, strengthening your bones and decreasing your body fat percentage. But you should also be mindful of what you eat to reap the benefits of weight training. At Synergy Fitness we are here to guide you along your fitness journey with nutrition consultations to get the most out of your weight training. It is just as, if not more important to keep up the hard work outside of the gym to reach your fitness goals.
KINETICS
The most effective way to achieve a sculpted or toned look is through resistance training using external loads to enhance muscular strength. Resistance training is also effective for helping with weight loss and enhancing overall quality of life. However, progressing to resistance training before addressing muscular imbalances may actually worsen any existing skeletal problems and could lead to long-term injuries. Taking a client through a carefully crafted functional movement screen along with incorporating strength training movements similar to everyday activities will keep client’s normal movement patterns injury free.
REST & RECOVERY
Rest and recovery is an important aspect of an exercise program, no matter what fitness level you are at. Rest and recovery allows the body time to repair and strengthen itself in between workouts. It also allows the individual to recover, both physically and psychologically. Through the proper rest and recovery period the body is allowed to adapt to the stress associated with exercise, replenish muscle glycogen (energy stores) and provide ample time for the body tissue to repair.
Joined for the summer because I needed a place to workout. I’ve never had a bad experience here: the staff is super friendly, and the gym environment is amazing. Would give 10 stars if I could.
Gym has all the equipment needed to provide a good workout for all the muscle groups and is also very clean. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to get into shape. Everyone at Synergy is extremely positive and very motivating. You won’t be disappointed joining here.
Every time I come to the gym I am greeted and welcomed. The entire gym is clean and well maintained. The personal trainers are the best in the area. They care about your goals, needs, and overall safety. This is a great place to get fit!
